For Spring 2026, we are thrilled to unveil a brand-new experience that brings together everything we love and live for at La Rosilla – and carries it up the mountain to La Biznaga. Our Comares Cooking & Culture Experience is a celebration of Andalucian traditions, seasonal flavours, and the simple joy of sharing good food in a breathtaking setting.

Set between the dramatic peaks of Comares and the warm embrace of our homes, this experience blends hands-on cooking, local stories, artisan ingredients, and the soulful rhythms of village life. It’s a chance to gather around the table, learn recipes passed down through generations, taste the land, and discover the culture that inspires us every day.

Your Comares Cooking & Culture Experience begins in the heart of the village, meeting in the plaza for a morning café and a gentle introduction to the day. From here, we wander through the winding streets on a guided walking tour, discovering Comares’ rich history, hidden corners, and far-reaching views that stretch across the mountains to the sea. After soaking up the stories and scenery, we make our way to La Biznaga where your gourmet experience awaits. Enjoy a relaxed welcome of tapas and sherry before rolling up your sleeves for a hands-on cooking session, creating seasonal dishes inspired by our mountain home. The day concludes around the table, dining together on your culinary creations — a delicious celebration of food, place, and shared moments. We will cook alfresco on the panoramic roof terrace, or cosy in the kitchen and dining room, if the weather is not good.
