Tastes of Town & Country Tour

Tastes of Town & Country

Come and join us on our unique ‘Tastes of Town & Country’ tour – an ideal, delicious short-break in Andalucia for all ‘foodies’ out there.

You will learn, explore, indulge, create, sip and be able to soak up the individual atmospheres of rural mountain life together with the hustle & cosmopolitan bustle of the dramatic, beautiful and “up and coming” city of Malaga.

This short 3 day  break, will take you on a journey allowing you to see all aspects of Andalucian life, all based around food, wine and gastronomic treats.

You will be guided throughout, by Lynsey who will share experiences and local insider knowledge as only someone who lives and breathes Andalucia can do.

Enjoying and exploring Andalucian cuisine is a fundamental part of any holiday in this beautiful part of the world, but within Andalucia itself, the dishes prepared are as diverse as the scenery.  From the freshest fish on the coast, famous Tapas in the city, to hearty country dishes of the inland countryside, with homemade recipes passed down from generation to generation.

Your tour will take in the rural towns of Colmenar famous for Honey and Cured meats & the spectacular hilltop town of Comares in the Axarquia region of the Montes de Malaga, along with the mountain retreat of La Rosilla for your cooking adventures.

Under Lynsey’s guidance you will create local dishes with ingredients in season and with true Moorish influences and sample fine wines & sherries. Your tour will come to its finale with a day in Malaga on a fabulous personalised

‘ Tapas Tour’.

Malaga has become rather a “cool” city in the last few years and with its renaissance, gastronomique delights have arrived too. Tapas Bars in Malaga now no longer just serve “pescaito frito” – fried fish, but nowadays they cover a range of the best food that Spain has to offer from the succulent cured Iberian Hams and traditional Manchego Cheeses served in traditional tapas bars, right through to modern-day, contemporary, fusion style tapas combining Asian and Spanish cuisine and served in chic surroundings. The three hour walking tour takes in most of the historic sights and beautiful views in the City.

So if you would like to Taste real Spain, and create dishes to enjoy, and make memories to last forever, take a look at what awaits :
